Formed in 1912, Seaham AC is one of the oldest sea angling clubs in the country.
The club runs some 50 junior and senior competitions a year, including the Seaham Open, also known as 'The Big Un', which has an incredible record entry of over 2,000 competitors.
Rae Borras talks to local anglers about how to get the most from fishing the north east coast of England and how to catch some 'canny' fish, including a former winner of The Big Un. And as always with Rae, he gets plenty of laughs along the way.
We take in some pier and night shore fishing, and some excellent bait and rig tips, before heading off to the inaugural North East Sea Angling Boat Show to meet more local characters.
