In part one Jakub soaks up the colours, smells and culture of Thailand as he goes in search of giant and cobra snakeheads, a fish known as ‘Asia’s freshwater tiger’ and regarded as, pound for pound, one of the hardest fishing fish on the planet. 

Then in part two our ‘Czech mate’ takes in the country’s saltwater fishing before trying for a 1000lb freshwater ray and ‘winding up’ on the famous Bungsmaran Lake, a venue created to protect the tackle-busting Mekong catfish, an incredible creature that can grow to 600lb and reach nine feet in length, plus the beautiful Siam carp….
